Spots!

Ramona recently took amoxicillin for a stubborn ear infection that wouldn't go away. Apparently she has a reaction to amoxicillin which gives her a rash--just like mom.

It looks uncomfortable, but she's been playing and having tons of fun hanging out at home while she recovers.

After two visits to the pediatrician, two histamine blockers, and a steroid, the rash is almost gone and she's feeling much better! Here's a before and after from Friday and Saturday:

Derby 2015

It's May in Kentucky, which means it's Derby Time!

Ramona had a great time at the Derby Parade at daycare. She had a lot of fun riding in the buggy with her friends, dressed up and of course wearing a fancy hat. She swiped the bow off her neighbor, who was dressed as a jockey, and decided to chew on it.

Grandma Sue brought Ramona this adorable stuffed animal to celebrate Ramona's first Derby. We named her new horse American Pharoah after the winning horse. Next up: a trip to Churchill Downs to see the horses in person!
